Know what your subscriptions cost and when to cancel them

For anyone with a few streaming, phone, gym or software plans who has been charged for one they meant to cancel. In the UK, US or Germany. No signup, your list stays in your browser.

$ cat features.md

  • One list for subscriptions and contracts: price, billing cycle (weekly to yearly), next renewal, notice period, category and a note.
  • Adds them up per month and per year, per currency (EUR, GBP, USD, CHF), with a breakdown by category.
  • Works out the last day to cancel from the renewal date and the notice period, and rolls past renewal dates forward.
  • Sorts by the next deadline, marks the ones due within 7 and 30 days, and shows the next chance when one was missed.
  • Calendar reminders as .ics files, one per subscription or all at once, with an alert 7 days before and on the day.
  • "Cancel it" opens the Kündigung generator with the name and end date filled in. JSON backup export and import.

$ cat why.md

I kept finding charges for things I had stopped using, and every time the cancel-by date was already behind me. Banking apps show what was paid, not when the notice period ends, and subscription apps want your bank login to find out. This one only needs the dates you already know and keeps them in your browser. The email reminder signup tells me whether people want reminders sent to them, which needs a server, so I build that only if they do.
